We're still here.

Even though the spring semester has ended, POHDCC is not going on a break-- yet. We still have plenty of material queued up for release, including the recent talk given to OHDCC by Dr. W. Warner Burke.

We'll miss Carl, who is leaving us to go on to greener pastures (a.k.a. Houston). Rest assured, though, that we're already looking at building a team for the fall season who will be able to expand upon what we've created and take the podcast to that 'next level' that everybody talks about. We'll have a bunch of new original content, new OHDCC talks to share, and who knows what else.

Speaking of the new team-- if you are an incoming TC student and think you might be interested in becoming part of Team POHDCC, feel free to drop myself and Serena a line at POHDCC@gmail.com, and let's talk. Don't worry about your skill and prowess in podcasting. We'll train you.

Finals are almost over.

Yes, we know-- it's been well over a week since The Apprentice finale, and we haven't put an episode up yet. We have no excuse. Except for finals. And papers. And the SIOP conference. And more finals. Also a paper. Did we mention that we'll have some interesting post-SIOP podcast material in the future?

Stay tuned for our Apprentice finale wrapup, featuring a surprise guest from OHDCC (it was a surprise even to him!). Also, stay tuned for an interview that our own Serena Shulman conducted with Dr. Michael Bazigos regarding his thoughts on The Apprentice.

So for Week 13, Frank and Nicole are pitted against James and Stefani, filming a 60-second commercial for Renuzit air freshener. We had a lot to talk about for this episode, from leadership style to thinking on one's feet to the question of youth versus experience.
